Disaster Golf
For my Senior Capstone, my team was comprised of our entire game design class (30 students). We chose to go with a prototype that my team created the semester before, Disaster Golf. In Disaster Golf players must move a golf ball using natural disasters such as meteors, wind, and lightning. We decided as a team to go with twitch gameplay, as we wanted the player to have to combine abilities and quickly react to their surroundings. The level in the video was designed by me and is the transition level between our two worlds. We tried our best to add environmental story telling to show the game becoming more difficult as the player approaches the volcano world.

Post graduation a dedicated group of students continued working on Disaster Golf. Eventually leading them to publishing the game with VoxPop Games. I led the marketing campaign on this game and created both long and short form content to promote its release. I also streamed the game once or twice a week in order to continue getting clips to create short-form content with. One of my personal favorite streams was with the developers of the game (Hippo Havoc). I interviewed them and then took clips from that interview, edited them, and posted them accross social media channels such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
